Aon Polska has chosen a space in Skyliner office building belonging to Karimpol Group portfolio as the new seat of its Warsaw office. At the end of this year Aon will settle on the 36th floor of the building. Corees Polska represented the Tenant in this process, whereas CBRE agency represented the Landlord.
Aon Polska and Aon Polska Services are part of a global organization, Aon plc, which exists to support better decision making – to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world. Aon employees provide clients in over 120 countries with advice and solutions that give them the clarity and confidence to make better decisions to protect and grow their businesses.
– We chose this location mainly because of the preferences of our employees, as well as good accessibility by all means of public transport – says Dominika Kozakiewicz, CEO of Aon Polska – An additional advantage is the close proximity to our current office, thanks to which we all know the area well. We also appreciate the local infrastructure which encourages meetings in cafes and restaurants, and the proximity of a hotel for our guests. One of the key arguments is also the fact that Skyliner is a “green” building, oriented towards ESG, reducing emissions and water consumption or friendly for cyclists. The location itself is becoming a prestigious insurance town, so we couldn’t disregard it. But this decision for Aon Polska is not only a physical change of location. It’s a strategic and cultural change – a shift to smart working to ensure the well-being of our employees and better service to our clients, as well as to meet our broader ESG goals.
The Skyliner office building is one of the seven tallest buildings in Poland and the latest investment of the Karimpol Group. It offers 49,000 sq m of rentable space on 42 floors. The lowest levels are intended for commercial, retail and catering outlet spaces. The two-level Skybar with extraordinary views of the Warsaw skyline is located 165 m above the ground. Skyliner has the highest office lobby in Poland, as high as 16 meters. The building is equipped with the latest technology, including 21 high-speed elevators (up to 7 m/s) with a smart touchless service system, SkylinerApp building application which, among other things, replaces traditional access control cards and allows for remote desk, room and parking space reservation. Skyliner’s five-level parking garage is designed for 428 cars, has charging stations for electric vehicles and parking space for 330 bicycles with full infrastructure for cycling enthusiasts. Skyliner holds a BREEAM certificate at the Excellent level and is powered by 100 percent renewable energy sources. It has obtained certificate of innogy Polska S.A. from E.ON Group confirming the purchase of guarantee of origin of electricity from RES installations.
– We highly appreciate the cooperation with Aon, which we established when the Company joined the group of tenants of our earlier investment – Equator II, and we are glad that our paths have crossed again, this time in Skyliner. The choice of our flagship investment by Aon is an important signal proving that the implemented projects, offered standard, modern and ecological solutions and the facility management model we run meet the highest requirements of global organizations. We are convinced that we will soon witness further success and the development of Aon in our newest building – Harald Jeschek, managing partner in the Karimpol Group.
The consultancy we offered Aon in this process combined two aspects: free movement within corporate standards and a boutique approach where the client experiences individual, attentive treatment. I am very glad that we could be a part of this project. – adds Grzegorz Kmiecinski, Director, Tenant Representation at Corees Polska.
