Hybrid work has become popular, and many companies have introduced a system in which employees spend three days in the office and two days working remotely. This work model poses new market challenges. Decisions are increasingly being made to reduce and optimize office space, which leads to maintaining operational savings. Smaller offices are more efficient and allow for better cost management. Smaller modules are becoming attractive, especially due to their flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing conditions. This formula is often used by companies from the IT sector, which constitutes a significant part of the office market. Many of them have adopted a hybrid work model, which allows them to use office space effectively. In 2024, modern, well-equipped offices, such as those that encourage creativity, were popular. Will this trend continue in the coming years? It is difficult to answer this question unequivocally. However, maintaining the trend related to maintaining hybrid work does not bode well for the condition of the commercial real estate market.
